Silver lake is always my go to place for Chinese. I can't say enough how sweet the people at this location are. The servers are so kind and always remember us and even remember our order. They know I am vegan and i never have to remind them to sub tofu for me. Their prices are very affordable for a sit down restaurant and even their delivery charge is not bad. We order delivery from them too and they are always fast and accurate. I have come here for date night with my boyfriend, for lunch with friends and even for family dinners with large groups and we've never been let down. I have tried other locations and this is by far my favorite. Their tofu is always on point, cooked to crispy perfection. Food is always served hot and fresh. I can't say enough, I love Silver Lake.

We were very impressed with the portion sizes of meals, quality of food, and large menu variety. This is a good choice for someone looking to try somewhere new. We would definitely return.

I must say we have been ordering from Silverlake for over 15 years. It is the best Chinese food in the western suburbs. It seems to have gotten even better when they opened 5 Spice Kitchen. We order mostly delivery. Did a catering order for a party. The food is always delicious and right temperature. The service impeccable and outstanding. We can't wait to dine in at the new location!

Ordered delivery! First time customer! I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food I received, broccoli shrimp was delicious, no bad aftertaste of antibiotics , very carefully prepared vegetable lo mein , as well as vegetable fried rice all prepared perfectly!my deepest gratitude to the cook! Will order again!!!

Catered from this restaurant for my mother’s 60th birthday. Ordered Chicken fried rice, Egg rolls, Crab Rangoon, sweat and sour chicken. Everyone enjoyed the food. They were asking where did I order food cause it’s very good! Those egg rolls were gone so fast. Would definitely order food again!

Fricking Amazing. The egg rolls were fantastic, the beef fried rice was amazing, their egg drop soup was extra yummy and their jasmine tea was phenomenal. And their customer service was outstanding!
